WuXi AppTec DMPK has more than 10 years of experience in preclinical ophthalmic drug development. We have mastered multiple routes of administration for the anterior and posterior segments of the eye, including eye drop instillation, intracameral injection, subconjunctival and retrobulbar injections, etc. We have innovated unique methodologies to address challenges encountered in the bioanalysis of ocular samples, such as low drug concentrations in the systemic circulation, small sample volumes, quantification of samples collected using special collection methods challenges in obtaining blank matrices, and the specific binding of drug to melanin.

With extensive preclinical R&D experience in DMPK studies for topical and transdermal drugs, we have supported more than 100 transdermal drugs, and have conducted over 2000 IVPT and in vivo PK studies.We specialize in topical and transdermal drug delivery for various formulations, including gels, creams, lotions, foams, plain patches, nanoparticles, and microneedles. Additionally, we excel in the isolation, sample processing, and bioanalysis of various skin tissues.

WuXi AppTec DMPK has more than 10 years of experience in preclinical respiratory drug development. In addition to the routine administration routes, we have mastered the challenging inhaled delivery route, and have completed over one hundred inhaled drug projects, successfully advancing many respiratory drugs to the clinical stage.

With 15+ years of experience, CNS-related research platforms have been established including but not limited to in vitro “Funnel” brain penetration screening model, multiple in vivo administration routes, in vivo microdialysis, in situ brain perfusion, intrathecal injection, and lateral ventricle administration. We have extensive research experience on small molecules, therapeutic proteins, oligonucleotides, etc, and have successfully participated in and contributed to many CNS projects of our global clients.
